1. About DealDone

DealDone.be is an online classifieds marketplace operated by DigitalStream, a self-employed business registered in Belgium under VAT number BE 0738.714.881. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the DealDone website and services available at dealdone.be.

By creating an account or using DealDone.be, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use DealDone.be. By registering, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
  • You will use the platform only for lawful purposes.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@dealdone.be of any unauthorised use of your account. DealDone is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account.

4. Posting Advertisements

Users may post classified advertisements ("Listings") subject to the following rules:

  • Listings must accurately describe the item or service being offered;
  • Listings must not be fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive;
  • Prohibited items include but are not limited to: illegal goods, weapons, drugs, counterfeit products, stolen items, adult content, and items that violate intellectual property rights;
  • DealDone reserves the right to remove any Listing at its sole discretion without prior notice;
  • Free listings are subject to listing limits based on your membership plan;
  • You are solely responsible for the content of your Listings.

5. No Warranty on Listings — Disclaimer of Liability

DealDone.be is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers. We do not:

  • Verify the identity, legitimacy, or trustworthiness of sellers or buyers;
  • Inspect, certify, or guarantee any item listed on the platform;
  • Act as a party to any transaction between users.

We are not responsible for fraud, scams, misrepresentation, defective goods, payment disputes, or any loss arising from transactions conducted through or initiated via DealDone.be. All transactions are conducted at the user's own risk. We strongly encourage users to follow our Safety Tips.

6. Payments and Membership

Certain features (such as featured listings and membership plans) require payment. Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal). DealDone does not store payment card information. All prices are shown in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT where required. Fees are non-refundable unless required by Belgian consumer law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on DealDone.be — including the logo, design, code, and text — is the property of DigitalStream or its licensors and is protected by Belgian and international copyright law. You may not copy, redistribute, or reproduce any content without prior written consent.

By posting a Listing, you grant DealDone a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and promote your content on the platform.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users;
  • Post spam, duplicate, or automated listings;
  • Attempt to scrape, hack, or disrupt the platform;
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension;
  • Use the platform for commercial bulk advertising without authorisation.

9. Suspension and Termination

DealDone reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice and without refund of any fees paid.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, DigitalStream shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of DealDone.be. Our total liability to you in any matter shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the website. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
